FIGHT FRAUD TASK FORCE

The statewide Fight Fraud Taskforce is comprised of representatives from:

	Clark County Legal Services
	Better Business Bureau
	Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
	Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies
	Nevada Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection
	Nevada Consumer Affairs Division
	Nevada Division of Mortgage Lending
	Nevada Division of Motor Vehicles
	Nevada Financial Institutions Division
	Nevada Transportation Authority
	Public Utilities Commission
	United States Postal Service
	Experts from the private sector, including a minority community specialist and a check fraud/anti-money laundering expert.

“Our mission is to educate Nevadan citizens about the scams that are occurring in the marketplace and to increase the ability of individuals to make informed decisions to protect their hard-earned dollars,” said Nevada Consumer Affairs Division Commissioner James E. Campos. “The Taskforce acts as an information clearinghouse for the latest scams and is developing materials to teach Nevadans how to protect themselves and their loved ones.”

The Taskforce is also responsible for ensuring the latest fraud information is available on the Fight Fraud website.
