This work-at-home is the perfect job for you because you can stay at home with the children and earn income.  The company promises employment, training and materials.  Your cost is $500 (your entire savings).  Days and months go by, and the company has not furnished anything that was agreed.  You requested a refund, and the check was issued.  However, the check comes back as “insufficient funds."

 

 

There are several fraudulent work-at-home schemes.  Call before you reach into your pocket.

Where is the business located?  What state?

Obtain business name (principal if possible) as well as a physical address.  If they refuse to provide information, NCAD’s suggestion is not to do business with them.

If information is provided check with the states agencies to verify licensing, Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, etc. anything negative NCAD’s suggestion, do not do business with them.

Also, call the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for any negative information - 1-877-438-4338.

If monies and agreement is made, make sure it is in writing, and if possible make payment with a credit card.
